Ettalong Beach, NSW
BEEP was engaged by Central Coast Council to carry out stairway safety upgrades at Lance Webb Reserve, Ettalong Beach. The project involved extending two public beach access stairs, adding new landings and additional steps to future-proof pedestrian access in response to ongoing erosion.
Works were delivered in a dynamic tidal zone with close environmental control, access management, and structural precision, enhancing safety and long-term coastal resilience.

· Off-site pre-fabrication and precise overlay of stair sub-frame
· Tidal scheduling and use of spotters for public safety in high pedestrian area
· Reinstatement of dunes and site restoration to pre-works condition
Delivered over three weeks with only seven workable days due to king tides and adverse weather, BEEP successfully completed the Ettalong Beach Stair Extensions in line with council specifications.
Precision excavation, concrete placement, and careful environmental planning ensured safe and lasting public access. Final inspections confirmed the site was handed back clean, secure, and ready for use — a practical and resilient upgrade to a high-use coastal reserve.
